VEHICLE DESCRIPTION
This auction is for a 2000 BMW Z3 2.3L Roadster. This sporty convertible is finished in the beautiful factory color of Impala Braun, which shows as a brilliant bronze color in the sunlight, and it is fitted with a power actuated black soft top. The beige leather interior is fitted with faux "ostrich" inserts in the seats and door panels, and the wood trim on the console and controls accentuate the clean design of the cockpit. Although labeled as a 2.3L, this model is actually powered by a 2.5L DOHC 24-valve version of BMW's legendary "straight" six cylinder engine mated to a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmission with dual mode settings. This combination provides dependable, smooth performance without sacrificing great fuel economy. BMW is famous for building "the Ultimate Driving Machine", and the handling of this car is absolutely superb. Equipped with Dynamic Stability Control, the car corners perfectly, and the brakes do an impressive job of stopping the car from higher speeds. The Z3 is very comfortable, and it delivers an outstanding ride at any speed. It is very nicely equipped with all of the amenities that one would expect in a BMW, including the Premium option package. All controls are power operated, and the car's unique color really sets it apart from other examples of the same model. Drop the top, hit the gas, and enjoy "open air" driving at its best.

VEHICLE CONDITIONThe beautiful exterior is glossy and free of dings or scratches, and the bronze colored paint shines brightly in the sunlight. The car shows light wear on the lower edge of the front air dam, but the overall appearance is very good. The interior condition is very good and shows extremely well for its year and mileage. The side bolster of the driver seat does show some obvious wear, as you would expect with soft leather, but the seating surfaces look extremely nice. The seat inserts and the door panels are finished with a "faux ostrich" texture, which in combination with the wood trim on the console and controls provide for a very classy yet tasteful interior. The carpets are in good condition, with very little wear, and the floor mats are in keeping with the exotic look of the interior. The black soft top is in very good condition, although the plastic rear window has discolored a little bit. All of the window glass is good, and the dash and console are almost pristine. The factory wheels have no nicks or any curb rash, but the rear tires will require replacement in the very near future. However, the seller will have the car fitted with four, brand new tires if the initial "Buy It Now Price" feature is used. The cosmetic appearance and overall condition of the car is very good, but please keep in mind that this is a used vehicle. Although this Z3 is not a "perfect" car, it really is exceptionally clean, and the previous, lady owner obviously took very good care of her car. However, please feel free to contact the seller directly with any specific questions regarding the car's condition or cosmetic appearance to ensure complete satisfaction upon purchase.  Mechanically, the car appears to be in very good shape, and all equipment and controls are in proper working order. This Z3 pulls strongly to its redline, and the car shifts smoothly through all of the gears. The factory Harman Kardon stereo sounds great, and the air conditioning blows cold even on a 100° summer day in Oklahoma. I recently had the car serviced, and the oil was changed and all fluids were replaced as needed. My mechanic performed a complete inspection of the car to ensure its fitness, and to his sorrow, he was unable to find anything to bill me for. Furthermore, all newer BMWs are equipped with a onboard maintenance system that monitors operating conditions in order to determine appropriate service intervals. This system consists of five green, one yellow, and one red LED light, that are used to indicate when service is required. Currently, all five green lights are shown, and no known maintenance is necessary at this time.
This particular car is a three-owner vehicle that has been in Texas and Oklahoma its entire life, and it has been certified by CarFax, for added peace of mind. This Z3 retains all factory books and records, and it has been well cared for and maintained. The car shows no evidence of any previous damage or repair, and the factory VIN stickers are in place on the front fenders and doors, verifying that they are original to the car and have never been replaced. The hood and trunk have been repainted at some point during its life in the original factory color, but the paint matches out very nice and gives the car a very, shiny appearance. Do not let the mileage on this car fool you, as this Z3 is very tight and extremely solid. This BMW Z3 is an exceptional value for such a clean car in very good cosmetic and mechanical condition. All bidders must have funds available to complete this transaction at the end of the auction, and all pre-purchase financing and payment are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The winning bidder is instructed to contact the seller and acknowledge the terms of sale within 24 hours from the close of the auction. A refundable 10% deposit in the form of a cashier's check or wire transfer is required within two (2) business days from the end of the auction in order to secure the vehicle. The winning bidder is responsible for the balance of payment in the form of cashiers check or wire transfer within five (5) business days from the end of the auction, unless special circumstances are requested and accepted prior to the auction closing. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle, but the seller can store the car for up to thirty (30) days from the end of the auction if full payment is received. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, however the seller will gladly assist in securing suitable transport for the vehicle to your front door, if requested at the time of closing. Additionally, the seller will gladly pick up the buyer at the Tulsa International Airport (TUL), and you can drive home in your Z3.
